I think fans of different teams around the league would argue with you there. Defensive Schemes, Schedule, and defensive play calling all have a lot to do with the way stats are accrued. That being said, there are several great linebackers in the league that consistently put up good numbers and they all don't reside with the Steelers. Don't get me wrong, they've had some studs over the years (From Lambert to Kirkland), but so have the Chargers, Bears, Ravens, Giants, KC, Tampa Bay, Denver, etc.

The Giants have more Hall of Fame linebackers than the Steelers;

Harry Carson 1976-1988

Lawrence Taylor 1981-1993

Sam Huff 1956-1967, 1969

The Beasr and Chiefs are tied with the steelers at two.
Pittsburgh has usually looked for more guys to be on defense.

But right now, you guys do not have a lot of good linebackers... actually, who DO you have????
they dont. there backs actually sucks compared to the steelers of the 70's. the chargers, pats, and tampa bay all have better linebackers
